What is Motion Design?
The concept is movement. Motion design is the animation of graphics to attract or guide the eye. Depending on style and project this can be anything from the loading circle you watch spin around waiting for something to load and animated logos to movies, commercials, and virtual reality. It is a combination of creativity and technology. Motion design has evolved to reach anywhere you can access a display. It can be hand drawn illustrated frames, computer generated, or recorded material such as live action. It is the process of designing or imagining a graphic in motion and then animating, editing, and composing it to life.
